We are actively hiring for a Process Manager, Commercial Casualty Claims - Remote

NOTE: To support collaboration with customers, partners, and internal teams, this role requires approximately 25-50% travel. Actual travel will vary based on business priorities and project needs.

Your Role: Under general direction, implements the enterprise vision, operating plan and strategy for a large department or multiple smaller units. Provides leadership, direction and accountability for department goals and processes. Manages development of annual budget, including human, physical and other company assets. Monitors the overall operations of department for functionality, effectiveness and recommends methods to improve efficiency, service and cost reduction.

Your Work:

  • Manages, often through subordinate supervisors and professionals, all administrative and functional operations of a department.
  • Prepares short and long range planning for administrative services operations and improvements to processes.
  • Establishes and recommends change to policies which affect the department.
  • Develops and monitors operational and budget processes, staff FTE, finance, human resources and space planning.
  • Manages systems and procedures to protect departmental assets.
  • Monitors staff performance and establishes productivity measures on an on-going basis, to achieve short and long term results.
  • Develops goals and objectives for department.
  • Collaborates with division leadership teams to identify, execute and manage transactional work streams to help them accomplish their business objectives.
  • Develops automated solutions to improve efficiencies and accountability.
  • Reviews existing work processes to prioritize and execute internal department improvements.
  • Makes hiring decisions, conducts performance evaluations, recommends salary actions, promotions and transfers and administers disciplinary procedures as necessary.
  • Evaluates and makes recommendations to existing training programs for employees.
  • Manages overall department budget.
  • Reviews and approves monthly expense reports, reconciliation and other resource reporting.

Required Experience, Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of experience conducting financial and/or business analysis, business process design or related experience.
  • 5+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Project management experience and skills to accurately complete detailed data assignments and to understand and interpret broad operational concepts and their application to the business unit and CSAA.
  • Experience working with operational measures and models, business planning, cost/benefit analysis, project management and senior level analysis.
  • Solid understanding of business process analysis, design and engineering methodologies and practices and ability to manage others to achieve results.
  • Ability to use Visio, MS Project, Excel (including pivot tables) and other desktop applications.

The national average salary range for this position is $122,850.00-$136,500.00. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on work location. The starting pay range for this position across all the states we hire in is $122,850.00-$164,000.00. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 17% of eligible pay.This job posting will be unposted on Wed, 8 Jul 2026.
