Position Summary
This is an intermediary level examiner position within Allcat's Flood program. This is a predominantly Flood QA review position with desk adjusting possibilities. In this position you will be required to review flood claims and provide feedback to field adjusters based on your prior claims adjusting experience. All claim will be reviewed and approved in line within current Standard Flood Insurance Policy guidelines.

Position: Flood Claims Examiner
Location: Remote
Department: Flood - Quality Assurance
Primary Duties
  • Reviews incoming moderate to complex residential and commercial property estimates for accuracy and compliance with carrier-specific guidelines.
  • Provides feedback to and collaborates with independent adjusters to correct estimates as necessary.
  • Contributes to business goals, performance metrics, and effectively uses tools & technology.
  • Supports workload surges and/or catastrophe operations as needed to include working significant overtime during designated catastrophe events.
  • Acquires and applies knowledge of dwelling construction terminology and techniques, estimating best practices and Xactimate estimates.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Requires an All Lines Insurance Adjuster's license.
  • Prior experience reviewing NFIP SFIP Dwelling, General Property and RCBAP Claims
  • 8+ years of residential or commercial property claims experience OR 4+ years of flood experience
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and easily acclimates to changes in process/systems for overall improvement of the organization.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing residential estimates to carrier specific standards.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
PREFERRED
  • NFIP Certification
  • College degree.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • Experience using XactAnalysis and Xactimate.
  • Prior military experience.
WORK SCHEDULE
  • Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
  • Schedules may vary based upon business needs.
