Job description

Job Title : Guidewire Claim Centre Configuration
Experience : 6+ Years
Category : Software Development/ Engineering
Education Qualification : Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
Position Description :
Guidewire Developers with 6+ years of working experience in Guidewire Claim Center configuration, having hands on experience on all the Claim Center functionalities.
The work involves constant interaction with business to clarify the requirements, necessary configuration as per those requirements, coding, gunits, fixing defects reported.
The work should be delivered in Agile methodology and involves demonstrating the work done to client every 2 weeks.
Also in scope will be close coordination and collaboration with other teams that are part of this program. Experience in Cloud implementation would be added advantage.
Your future duties and responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Guidewire-based solutions, including customizations and new features.
- Configure product models, rating engines, and business rules using the Claim center Configuration tool.
- Develop and integrate the platform with other internal and external systems using tools like REST APIs.
- Write clean, high-quality code in GOSU and Java.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Claim center configuration, data migration, and integrations.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and perform unit and integration testing.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role :
Must-Have Skills :
- 3+ years in Guidewire Claim Center development.
- Strong expertise in Gosu, Guidewire configuration, and integration development.
- Good understanding of Claim Center data model, job configuration, product model.
- Experience with Web Services (SOAP/REST), XML, JSON, Messaging, and Batch Processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good-to-Have Skills :
- Experience with different guidewire centers will be an added advantage.
- Guidewire Certification with Cloud experience.
