Work EnvironmentDesign, testing, and troubleshooting electronic circuits remotely or in labsInstalling, maintaining, and repairing electronic systems remotely or on-site
Industry UsageUsed in electronics manufacturing, telecommunications, and consumer electronicsCommon in telecommunications, manufacturing, and service industries
Search & Comparison IntentFocuses on circuit design and testing rolesFocuses on system maintenance and repair roles

Remote Circuits primarily involves designing and testing electronic circuits, while Remote Electronics Technicians focus on maintaining and repairing electronic systems. Both roles require technical certifications and often operate in similar industries, but their core responsibilities differ in design versus maintenance tasks.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Circuit Design Engineer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Circuit Design Engineer, you need a solid background in electrical engineering, circuit theory, and experience with schematic design, usually supported by a relevant degree. Familiarity with CAD software like Altium Designer or OrCAD, and possibly certifications in PCB design or electronics engineering, are typically required. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication help you excel in collaborative, iterative design environments. These skills ensure reliable, innovative circuit solutions that meet technical specifications and project requirements.

What are Remote Circuits?

Remote circuits are electronic circuits that can be controlled or monitored remotely, usually via wireless communication or the internet. They are commonly used in applications like home automation, industrial control systems, and remote monitoring setups. These circuits enable users to operate devices, machines, or systems from a distance, improving convenience and efficiency. Professionals working with remote circuits often need knowledge of electronics, wireless communication, and embedded systems.

What are some common challenges faced when working as a Remote Circuits Engineer, and how can I overcome them?

As a Remote Circuits Engineer, one of the main challenges is effective communication and collaboration with team members who may be in different locations and time zones. Additionally, troubleshooting hardware issues remotely can be complex due to limited physical access to test equipment and prototypes. To overcome these challenges, it’s important to utilize collaborative tools, maintain clear documentation, and schedule regular virtual meetings. Building strong relationships with on-site team members and developing proficiency in remote diagnostic tools can also help ensure smooth project progress.

Sales & Business Development Executive

Tennis Circuits LLC — United States (100% Remote)

The Position

Tennis Circuits is hiring four (4) Business Development Executives in the US market to introduce the Tennis Circuits® events platform to tennis clubs, academies, and organizers, and to increase each club's number of events and player participation across the country.

The Tennis Circuits® software platform powers tennis events of every kind — tournaments, doubles leagues, match play, clinics, camps, Junior Team Tennis (JTT), and private leagues (club leagues, inter-club leagues, team leagues, and corporate leagues) — along with our popular Tennis Circuits® Club EditionTM intelligent club page, which integrates with a club or organizer's existing website so members and outside players can quickly and easily sign up for the events your clubs offer. It also includes a member ladder, hosting multiple lists for juniors, adults, and teams.

You will own a geographic territory you're already connected to, which makes building out that area's club network far more efficient. Your job is to drive adoption of the platform, expand the mix of event types each club runs, and grow participation in a way that fits each club's member demographic.

Tennis Circuits® has a unique business model: the software is FREE for all clubs and organizers; there is no charge for use of the platform, which makes it an easy introduction. This is business development built on making clubs and organizers successful, helping them grow and expand their events business. We are different than our competitors. Many companies try to “extract” value from tennis clubs and organizers; we earn our stripes by boosting each club's revenue and proving our value as a partner in the tennis industry.

All positions are 100% remote, with significant time spent on Google Meet. Travel is only required within your region, for special events you determine are critical to your club and organizer portfolio.

What You'll Do

Introducing the Tennis Circuits® Platform. You will use your significant network of club owners, teaching pros and other influencer in the tennis community to introduce the Tennis Circuits® software platform to clubs and organizers in your territory, meeting monthly goals for clubs reaching active status (running events above a monthly participation threshold).

Club & Organizer Onboarding (Strategy). A separate onboarding team will perform the actual onboarding and training sessions, but you set the strategy for how you want each club trained due to your intimate knowledge of each club’s operations and member interests. You will instruct how onboarding is to be focused to maximize event mix and registrations boost. For example, if you decide a club's junior academy should start with tournaments, clinics, and match play, you instruct the onboarding team to follow that plan.

Grow Volume. Once a club is onboarded, you will work with the clubs in you regional area to grow the quantity and frequency of event types that apply to each clubs demographics, strategic direction and resourcing and for each event develop strategies to boost registrations for each club event and helping each club create a "tennis hotspot" presence in their local market.

You will have access to marketing resources to help your clubs boost registrations and possibly new members interested in playing.

Own Your Region. Define the territory you want to own — you're being considered for this role largely because of your connection to your regional market. These clubs should already know and trust you; that existing relationship is what makes this role work. Territories are defined by performance and growth: as your region succeeds and saturates, we expand coverage by segmenting the area and adding team members — so consistently growing your club count, events, and participation is core to the role. From there, manage and grow a portfolio of clubs, academies, and organizers, hitting club, event, and registration targets.

What We Require

· 10+ years of competitive tennis experience (juniors, college, adult leagues).

3+ years in tennis club operations and management.

· Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clubs and organizers — driving platform use, the variety and frequency of events, and the registration growth for each event.

· Excellent Interpersonal Skills. You'll be a trusted, go-to partner for each club, helping them boost events and member participation. You must liked by the clubs and organizers.

· Established network in your market — you must know tennis club owners, and they know (or know of) you. The ability to build those connections is critical. An experienced, well-connected tennis person who understands how clubs operate and what it takes to run a quality event.

A deep competitive tennis background — as a junior, college, adult-league, and/or other high-level player.

Substantial existing relationships with tennis clubs in your regional area.

Compensation & Benefits

Base + Uncapped Commission Plan

· Base salary: $48,000–$54,000, depending on experience, paid weekly.

· Uncapped monthly performance bonuses on top of base, tied to two things you directly control (Club activations and Club Event Registrations, and Accelerators for high performers)

· On-Target Earnings (OTE) of approximately $70,000–$110,000, with no commission caps. The more clubs, the more events, the more registrations, the more you earn. Top performers with high-volume clubs’ relationships can earn a higher OTE.

· Vacation and specific holidays will be included for successful candidates.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
