Job description

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) — Denver, CO

Location: Denver, Colorado (Hybrid — in-home, school-based, and remote) Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Compensation:

  • Full-Time Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 based on billable caseload

  • Part-Time Hourly: $70 – $80 per hour based on caseload

We're Not Just Another ABA Company. We're a Movement.

We exist for the families who were told to wait. For the kids who deserve more than a checklist. For the clinicians who got into this field to change lives and somewhere along the way got handed a caseload and forgotten.

House of Hearts ABA is building something different in Denver, and we're not looking for just any BCBA. We're looking for the kind of clinician who still feels something when a kid hits a goal. Who reads progress notes like they matter. Who treats every family like they're the only family. If you became a BCBA because you wanted to make a real difference and you've been waiting for a company that lives that out, this is your seat.

The Role

You'll work hybrid across the Denver area — in homes, in schools, and remotely — delivering high-quality ABA services to children and partnering with families to drive real, measurable progress. You'll build treatment plans you'd be proud to defend, run supervision sessions that actually develop your RBTs, and have the autonomy to practice the way you were trained to practice.

We give our BCBAs flexibility, support, and trust. In return, we expect ownership, clinical excellence, and a genuine commitment to the kids on your caseload.

Why House of Hearts BCBAs Stay
  • Unlimited PTO for full-time BCBAs — take the time you need, when you need it

  • Flexible caseloads built around your strengths and your life

  • Paid holidays off

  • Full health benefits coverage for full-time BCBAs

  • Competitive compensation that scales with your caseload — the more you give, the more you earn

  • A hybrid model that respects your time and lets you do your best work

  • Real clinical leadership and mentorship — you're not on an island

  • A team that actually answers when you call — our operations and clinical leadership move fast and have your back

What You'll Do
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments, skill assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans

  • Provide direct supervision and clinical direction to RBTs across your caseload

  • Lead parent and caregiver guidance sessions that drive skill generalization at home and in the community

  • Monitor progress through data review, direct observation, and ongoing program adjustments

  • Collaborate with families, schools, and community partners to support each child holistically

  • Uphold BACB ethical standards and payer compliance at every step

  • Be a present, accessible clinical leader to your team and your families

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Colorado

  • Experience supervising RBTs

  • Strong clinical judgment, ethical decision-making, and treatment fidelity

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

  • A genuine, demonstrable passion for working with children and families

Big Plus

  • Bilingual in Spanish — we serve a diverse Denver community and bilingual BCBAs make an enormous difference for the families we work with

  • Experience working across in-home, school, and clinic settings

  • Prior experience in a growing company where you helped shape something, not just slot into it

Who We Are NOT Looking For

We're going to be honest with you, because we'd rather have the right conversation now than the wrong hire later.

We're not looking for someone who wants to clock in, hit their hours, and clock out. We're not looking for someone who treats families like a number or progress notes like a chore. We're not looking for someone who became a BCBA for the title.

We're looking for genuine people who care deeply about the kids they serve, who want to be part of something they helped build, and who understand that what we do actually changes lives.

Why Denver, Why Now

We're growing across Colorado, and Denver is one of the most important markets we're building in. Joining now means you get to help shape what House of Hearts looks like here — the culture, the standards, the community presence. You won't be employee number five hundred plugged into a giant machine. You'll be one of the people the rest of our Colorado team looks to as we grow.

If that excites you, we want to hear from you.

Apply

If you've read this far and something in you is saying this is the one — trust that. Send us your resume and a short note about why you became a BCBA and what kind of impact you want to make. We read every application personally.

We're not just another company. We're a movement. Come help us build it.
