In this full-time role, you will be integral to providing essential mental health support to students experiencing significant emotional and behavioral challenges.

About the Organization

At H.O.P.E Healthcare Clinic, our mission is to foster healthier communities by delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services in medically under-served areas. We believe that access to comprehensive healthcare should not depend on an individual’s ability to pay. Our team is dedicated to breaking barriers and offering compassionate care to those who need it most.

Work Environment

This position operates in a fully remote setup, allowing you to engage with students and staff through digital platforms. Although remote, you will remain connected with a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional mental health services. This flexibility aids in creating an efficient and productive working environment, while also promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical services in an engaging manner, supporting students with major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders through individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop integrated care plans, ensuring seamless access to additional services as needed.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evidence-based screenings that are developmentally appropriate, making referrals for more intensive evaluations as required.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, contributing to collective goals and collaboratively enhancing care delivery.
  • Monitor client progress, adjust caseload management, and ensure timely documentation of client notes, treatment plans, and progress reports.
  • Facilitate crisis interventions, responding effectively to students in distress and providing immediate therapeutic support.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, actively seeking opportunities to refine skills and improve therapeutic techniques.
  • Participate in committees aimed at enhancing service delivery and establishing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies to ensure the highest standards of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents who face various mental health challenges. By utilizing your expertise, you will not only assist in managing symptoms but also empower students to enhance their coping strategies, academic performance, and overall emotional resilience. Your work will significantly contribute to creating a supportive learning environment that prioritizes mental wellness.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.
  • Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Maryland is mandatory.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, focusing on mental health.
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders relevant to an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience
  • Bilingual candidates in Spanish and English are highly preferred, enhancing communications with a broader range of students and families.
  • Experience working in a school or educational environment is advantageous and will be beneficial in understanding academic-related issues.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • Sign-on bonus to support your transition into our dedicated team.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance packages.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions.
  • Generous paid time off and sick leave policies to promote work-life balance.
  • Life insurance for your peace of mind.
  • Profit-sharing initiatives that foster an investment in our collective success.
  • Employee discounts on various services and products to support your lifestyle.
  • Flexible spending accounts for health and childcare expenses.
  • Tuition reimbursement, encouraging ongoing education and professional growth.
  • Flexible schedules to accommodate your personal commitments.
  • Referral bonuses as an incentive to help us grow our exceptional team.
