The Virtual Connection Specialist will support the needs of direct support staff and persons served and assist onsite staff utilizing virtual supports such as video, sensors, two-way communication and other technology.

Qualifications:
  • 18 years old or older
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Two (2) years' experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities, brain injury, mental illness or similar experience.
  • Previous experience providing remote support, preferred.
  • This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record, a reliable vehicle and the ability to pass an extensive background check, including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, the Sex Offender registry, and a criminal history check.

Details:
  • Schedule will consist of seven consecutive over night shifts (awake), Wednesday - Tuesday, followed by seven consecutive days off. Hours are 7:30 pm to 7:30 am.
    • On-site in Waterloo. This is an in-person position providing virtual support services.
  • Pay Rate: $17.75 - $19.75 Rate of pay depends upon experience.
