About the Role

We are seeking experienced Senior Accounting & Finance Professionals to support an AI/LLM project focused on accounting and financial advisory use cases.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with senior-level experience as a CFO, Finance Director, Financial Controller, VP of Finance, Finance/COO, CFO Advisor, or Financial Consultant, particularly those who have advised or supported small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs).

You will analyze financial information, answer complex accounting and finance questions, and provide practical, advisory-level recommendations based on real-world business scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data and provide accurate accounting and financial guidance.
  • Handle complex accounting, bookkeeping, finance, and financial-management questions.
  • Provide advisory recommendations based on financial data and business requirements.
  • Support accounting and finance-related queries for SMB owners and businesses.
  • Apply practical experience to evaluate financial scenarios and develop well-reasoned recommendations.
  • Contribute senior-level expertise to AI/LLM training and evaluation tasks.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, financial consulting, or a related field.
  • Senior-level experience as a CFO, COO (Finance), Financial Controller, Finance Director, VP of Finance, CFO Advisor, Finance Manager, or Financial Consultant.
  • Experience supporting or advising SMB clients or business owners, preferably US-based SMBs.
  • Experience working with or advising at least 3 different organizations.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, bookkeeping, financial analysis, and business finance.
  • Ability to handle complex accounting and finance-related questions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working directly with US-based SMBs.
  • Experience as an SMB owner or hands-on financial decision-maker.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Experience providing finance/accounting support through chat-based platforms or similar environments.
  • Experience advising business owners on financial planning, reporting, and decision-making.


Work Commitment:

  • Up to 40 hours per week.
  • Must be available for at least 4 hours of overlap with the PST time zone.
  • Immediate availability preferred.
  • Initial engagement of 10 weeks, with potential for extension based on project requirements and performance.
