In your role as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and creating tailored treatment plans to address the needs of clients, including pre-crisis and crisis interventions.
• Documenting clinical sessions and treatment progress accurately and promptly in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Utilizing evidence-based screening tools and methodologies to ensure the efficacy of therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement positive behavior support plans and enhance client outcomes.
• Being an active participant in all licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring the clinic meets or exceeds established standards.
• Connecting clients with relevant state agencies and community resources to facilitate holistic support.
• Maintaining open lines of communication with community partners and agencies to promote and enhance client welfare.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development through workshops and conferences to further your expertise and benefit the clinic.
• Upholding the mission and values of CenCal Mental Health Clinic by integrating them into all aspects of your work.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the clinic's operational goals.

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A master’s degree in a mental health-related field.
• An independent LPCC license in the state of California, or willingness to obtain licensure if currently licensed in another state (with fees covered by the organization).
• A minimum of one year of experience working within a clinical setting.

While not mandatory, the following are preferred qualifications that will enhance your candidacy:

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic practices and approaches for mental health treatment.
• Familiarity with community resources and state agency partnerships.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

The salary range for this position is USD 120,000 – 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, our benefits package includes:
