As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual counseling sessions via secure video chat to enhance clients' mental health.
• Encouraging open dialogue so clients can express their emotions and experiences, aiding in their self-discovery and relationship development.
• Advocating for clients to help them articulate and achieve their personal goals.
• Evaluating clients' mental health status and creating tailored treatment plans using evidence-based, solution-focused strategies based on your clinical expertise.
• Maintaining thorough yet concise documentation for each session to support continuity of care.

Your primary clientele will consist of stable adults who have been carefully screened for low acuity mental health issues. This ensures that you engage with clients who are ready to work collaboratively towards meaningful outcomes. To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) designation issued by a state board; provisional or limited licenses are not acceptable.
• Exceptional decision-making capabilities coupled with the ability to conduct professional evaluations and devise appropriate treatment plans.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills which promote a caring and empathetic therapeutic environment.
• Proficiency with digital platforms for counseling, demonstrating strong computer literacy skills.

We are looking for candidates who possess at least two years of clinical experience delivering therapy. Candidates familiar with telehealth practices and those who have navigated digital counseling platforms will be favored as we strive for a smooth adaptation to the remote model.
