Work Environment

Our outpatient office environment allows you to connect with clients who have been pre-screened for their stability and suitability for online counseling, which means you will primarily work with low-acuity adults.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Virtual Mental Health Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting one-on-one counseling sessions with clients via secure video chat, using evidence-based approaches to enhance their mental health.
• Encouraging open dialogue about emotions, experiences, and thoughts, guiding clients to gain deeper self-awareness and insight into their personal relationships.
• Acting as an advocate for clients, collaboratively defining and setting realistic, achievable goals for their treatment.
• Evaluating clients’ mental conditions, developing tailored treatment plans, and utilizing your clinical expertise to implement effective interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will encompass stable adults who have been carefully matched to your specialties and personal preferences. This ensures you are working with patients who align with your experience and therapeutic style. Importantly, you will not be responsible for handling cases involving severe mental health issues, allowing you to focus on preventive and supportive care.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Possess an active and unrestricted license to practice independently as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Psychologist, or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
