Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor at Transcendent Healing, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting one-on-one, ethical, and compassionate counseling sessions with clients via video chat.
• Employing evidence-based solution-focused treatment modalities to craft individualized therapy plans.
• Collaboratively establishing therapy goals with clients and measuring progress throughout their treatment journey.
• Empowering clients to understand and navigate their experiences, emotions, and relationships.
• Implementing therapeutic techniques that equip clients with healthy coping mechanisms and resilience strategies.
• Utilizing our intuitive counselor portal to manage schedules, treatment plans, and client communications efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on stable, low-acuity adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges. You will be instrumental in identifying their specific needs and tailoring personalized interventions that promote recovery and resilience. Your ability to build rapport and foster trust with clients will be crucial in facilitating positive outcomes in their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Mental Health Counselor role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current, valid state license appropriate for the position, such as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Psychologist (PsyD)
• Independently licensed to practice without supervision, ensuring no disciplinary actions on record.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach to counseling.
• Proficiency in technology and a reliable internet connection to ensure seamless virtual sessions.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have experience working in telehealth settings or familiarity with virtual counseling tools. Previous experience developing personalized treatment plans and a track record of fostering client engagement would be additional assets.

• Competitive annual salary between $115,000 and $130,000 for full-time positions. Part-time counselors can expect around $65,000 annually based on hours worked.
