Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Resole Your Life, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via secure video chat, focusing on helping clients identify and address their mental health concerns.
• Facilitating open discussions with clients about their emotions, experiences, and relationships to foster self-awareness and insight.
• Acting as an advocate for clients by assisting them in defining achievable mental health goals that align with their personal values.
• Evaluating clients’ mental health conditions and developing comprehensive treatment plans utilizing your clinical expertise and solution-based methods.
• Continuously assessing client progress and adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with are primarily prescreened individuals who are stable and have low acuity mental health issues. This allows for an environment where therapists can effectively utilize their skills to guide clients toward meaningful changes. By focusing on individuals who need support in managing their mental health, you will play a crucial role in enhancing their quality of life and overall well-being.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must have:

• A master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An independent mental health license (such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) issued by the state of Texas. Please note that limited or provisional licenses will not be accepted.
• Strong ability to make professional evaluations and informed decisions regarding treatment planning and implementation.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor to support clients effectively.
• Strong computer literacy, adept at using digital tools necessary for remote counseling.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences will enhance your candidacy:
