• Conduct remote therapy sessions with clients through video chat to address various emotional and psychological challenges.
• Utilize active listening and empathy to encourage clients to share their feelings and experiences.
• Identify and clarify clients’ issues through clinical conversations, assessments, and observational techniques.
• Guide clients in setting realistic goals, planning actionable steps, and gaining meaningful insights regarding their mental health journeys.
• Implement solution-focused approaches to therapy, promoting positive behavioral changes and coping strategies.

Your work will primarily involve counseling stable, low-acuity clients who are seeking help for a variety of mental health concerns. Each client is carefully screened prior to beginning therapy, ensuring that you are equipped to provide support to those in need without the added stress of high-acuity cases. To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid and unrestricted license to practice independently in California, such as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Strong interpersonal skills and a sympathetic disposition.
• Proficiency in computer skills and the ability to navigate online counseling platforms.

Experience in remote counseling or teletherapy is advantageous, as is a familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities. Experience working with diverse populations is also a plus. Candidates who’ve successfully built a client base in previous roles will find themselves well-positioned for success.

As a valued member of our team, full-time counselors can expect a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
