Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to gather comprehensive information about patients’ trauma histories, leading to tailored treatment approaches.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions to support clients in processing their traumas, developing effective coping strategies, and promoting overall mental well-being.
• Collaborating with psychiatrists, case managers, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and holistic care for each patient.
• Providing crisis intervention and support for clients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.
• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower them in their healing process.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participating in case consultations and ongoing team meetings to share insights and strategies related to trauma-informed care.
• Staying informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals who have experienced trauma—ranging from recent events to complex, long-standing issues. By providing evidence-based interventions and compassionate support, you will help clients navigate their unique challenges, understand their trauma responses, and build resilience necessary for recovery.

Qualifications

The successful applicant should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in trauma-focused care.
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders.
• Proven experience delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.
• Ability to remain composed and professional in high-stress situations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a strong aptitude for technology.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

While the primary qualifications are essential, additional skills and experiences in the following areas will be considered advantageous:

• Training or certification in specialized trauma therapies (e.g., EMDR, TF-CBT).
• Previous experience providing remote or telehealth therapy services.
• Active involvement in community outreach programs related to mental health awareness and trauma recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
