Position Overview

Chat and Change Mental Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team in Orlando, Florida. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while ensuring our patients receive uninterrupted services. Your primary working hours will be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Communication with colleagues and patients will be facilitated through telehealth platforms and secure electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring your ability to provide care efficiently and effectively from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver psychotherapy and other mental health services tailored to patients with various mental health conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ psychological, emotional, and social functioning, providing a holistic view of their needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists and primary care physicians to develop coordinated treatment plans.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that are culturally competent and address the unique strengths and challenges of each patient.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly, making adjustments to treatment strategies based on clinical feedback and patient responses.
• Offer education and supportive resources to patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources.
• Adhere strictly to ethical and professional standards, ensuring confidentiality and informed consent in all therapeutic processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents and adults facing various mental health challenges. Your approach will center around empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to fostering a supportive atmosphere where patients feel safe to explore their feelings and experiences.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of experience providing psychotherapy and related mental health services.
• Demonstrable strong clinical skills, with the ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop patient-centered treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems (EHRs) and other relevant healthcare software for patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a diverse patient population and familiarity with community health resources.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in the treatment of mental health disorders.
• Ability to provide culturally competent care in line with the values and needs of the community.

Compensation and Benefits
