This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule and work-life balance. As part of a cohesive treatment team, you will engage with multidisciplinary professionals, including psychiatrists and other therapists, to create an integrated care model that ensures comprehensive support for our clients.

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your role will include a variety of responsibilities designed to facilitate effective treatment for your clients:

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma histories and establish appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies that focus on trauma recovery and resilience, integrating therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating safe spaces for clients to process their trauma, build coping skills, and foster healing.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated treatment, ensuring that each patient receives comprehensive care.
• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm and effective response to high-stress situations.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies, empowering them with knowledge and community resources.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines to ensure compliance and uphold patient confidentiality.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development related to trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy, incorporating new insights into your practice.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base, primarily focusing on individuals grappling with the effects of traumatic experiences. Our clinic supports trauma survivors across all age groups who are looking for comprehensive mental health care aimed at improving their quality of life.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.
• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Excellent communication skills, coupled with an empathetic, non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on trauma therapy.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems as well as general computer applications.
• A cooperative spirit and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
