This position is 100% remote, providing a comfortable and safe environment to conduct therapy sessions. Our outpatient model focuses on delivering care to stable adults experiencing low-acuity mental health issues. • Conduct individual therapy sessions via video chat, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches to enhance clients' mental health and well-being.
• Engage with clients in meaningful discussions about their emotions and life experiences, facilitating insights that foster personal growth.
• Act as an advocate for your clients, helping them identify and define achievable goals for their therapy journey.
• Assess clients' mental health conditions and collaborate in developing tailored treatment plans informed by your clinical experience and knowledge.

Your clients will primarily consist of stable adults facing various mental health challenges. The outpatient approach ensures that you work with individuals who are ready and motivated to address their concerns, providing a supportive outlet for their thoughts and feelings. This demographic allows for a rewarding experience, as you witness the progress of clients benefiting from your guidance and support.

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Active LMFT license in the state of Illinois; candidates must hold a full license—provisional or limited licenses will not be considered.
• Strong ability to conduct professional evaluations, make informed decisions, and create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills and a genuine empathetic nature, ensuring a supportive client-therapist relationship.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology, including telehealth platforms and electronic health records, to deliver effective counseling services.

• Prior experience in a therapeutic role, particularly in remote settings, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with solution-focused therapy methods and techniques.
• Experience managing a caseload and a demonstrated ability to meet clients' needs effectively.
