• Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and establish appropriate treatment paths.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building, incorporating specific therapeutic modalities.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop coping strategies, and foster emotional healing.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to assist patients in distress.
• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to empower their recovery process.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops focused on advancing trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay updated with the latest therapeutic research and methodologies in trauma therapy to enhance clinical effectiveness.

The therapist in this role will primarily work with individuals impacted by trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and associated dissociative disorders. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and knowledge of effective treatment modalities for trauma recovery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach when interacting with patients.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations, providing a reassuring presence for patients in crisis.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, particularly in trauma-focused therapies.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in computer applications relevant to telehealth and clinical documentation.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment, contributing to holistic patient care approaches.
