Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat to support clients in enhancing their mental health and emotional well-being.
• Empower clients to express emotions and experiences, fostering an understanding of themselves and their interpersonal relationships.
• Act as an advocate for clients, assisting in the identification and articulation of their therapeutic goals.
• Assess clients’ mental health conditions and develop tailored treatment plans utilizing a solution-focused approach grounded in clinical best practices.
• Maintain minimal paperwork, focusing on completing session notes while the administrative team manages additional tasks, including billing and logistics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with adults who are stable and have low-acuity mental health needs. Clients are carefully screened to ensure they are ready to engage with therapeutic practices. This role is essential in supporting their journey towards better mental health through compassionate listening, counseling strategies, and personalized care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Current licensing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) issued by a state board; limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
• A proven ability to conduct professional evaluations and formulate treatment strategies based on comprehensive assessment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills combined with a sympathetic demeanor that fosters trust in the therapeutic relationship.
• Strong computer literacy to effectively utilize our all-in-one digital platform for client management and communication.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling or therapy.
• Previous experience delivering remote therapy services is a plus.
