This position operates in a remote work setting conducive to clinical practice while receiving support from our healthcare team. While there is flexibility in work-from-home arrangements, the nature of your role will require regular interaction with other department members and healthcare professionals. • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patient needs and diagnose mental health conditions when necessary, utilizing standardized tools including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that encapsulate cultural diversity and specific patient needs, continuously monitoring progress and adjusting interventions accordingly.
• Document all treatment records and clinical notes accurately within required timelines, leveraging contemporary technology to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Engage collaboratively with patients and their families, developing comprehensive treatment plans that address identified needs while imbuing a shared sense of ownership in the care delivered.
• Create strategies aimed at symptom management and patient safety, while leveraging teamwork to achieve clinical objectives.
• Coordinate referrals and ensure current and effective connections between patients and external treatment providers, facilitating smooth transitions in care.
• Mentor and provide educational support to students, interns, and junior staff, fostering a learning environment that promotes professional growth.
• Participate in clinical collaboration, chart auditing, and peer-to-peer reviews as guided by your clinical supervisor to support team member development.

Your primary focus will revolve around individuals and families impacted by cancer diagnoses, which require a nuanced understanding of the psychological, emotional, and social ramifications associated with cancer treatment and recovery. You will employ therapeutic modalities tailored to this unique patient group, ensuring that their mental health needs are met with sensitivity and expertise.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A current State License as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is mandatory.
• Proficient knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and methodologies.

• Experience working with oncology patients or within healthcare settings addressing chronic illness will be highly regarded.
• History of implementing successful treatment plans and clinical interventions tailored to diverse patient demographics.
• Experience in a telehealth environment is advantageous, given the remote aspect of the role.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
