Job description

Job Summary
This Associate Data Architect position is specifically focused on building enterprise Business Intelligence dashboards in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) on the Oracle Health Data Intelligence (HDI) platform running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role will be directly involved in a major analytics platform transition as the organization moves away from legacy PIE reports and Tableau dashboards running on AWS/Vertica and standardizes enterprise analytics on HDI + OAC.
The person in this role will design, develop, and maintain dashboards primarily supporting Revenue Cycle, clinical, and operational analytics. In Revenue Cycle, this includes analytics for both Oracle Health Patient Accounting (OHPAC) and Cerner Patient Accounting (CPA) environments. In addition, the organization's Oracle Health EHR data will be landing in HDI and will require new and enhanced dashboards to support executive, operational, and clinical decision-making.
This position will be on the front line of the HDI/OAC implementation and conversion, working closely with the Oracle Health team as data is transitioned, modeled, and validated, and as initial vendor-provided dashboards are stood up. Specific collaboration areas include OHPAC dashboards and Oracle Health Unified Analytics Reporting (UAR) dashboards. Once the core platform migration is complete, this role will continue to play a key part in expanding and enhancing analytics beyond what is delivered out-of-the-box, building custom dashboards to meet the organization's unique business and operational needs.
On a day-to-day basis, the Associate Data Architect in this role will:
  • Develop and maintain OAC dashboards and subject areas in HDI
  • Write and optimize SQL (and PL/SQL where applicable) against Oracle databases
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate revenue cycle and operational questions into clear, reliable analytics solutions
  • Ensure dashboards are performant, governed, and aligned with standardized enterprise definitions
  • Collaborate with Oracle Health and internal IT teams during platform transition, validation, and ongoing enhancement

Direct experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle databases is strongly preferred. Because OAC and HDI are newer platforms in the market, candidates with strong healthcare analytics experience using tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and who demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new BI platforms, will also be considered.
Education, Experience, and Certifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Healthcare Informatics, or related field required
  • Master's degree or advanced technical training in data, analytics, or cloud platforms preferred

Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in healthcare analytics, business intelligence, or data architecture
  • Hands-on experience developing enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions in modern BI platforms
  • Experience working with healthcare data domains such as revenue cycle, finance, clinical operations, or population health

Preferred / Highly Relevant Experience:
  • Experience developing dashboards in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or similar enterprise BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience working with Oracle databases, including strong SQL skills and familiarity with PL/SQL
  • Experience supporting or analyzing data from:
    • Patient Accounting systems (Oracle Health Patient Accounting (OHPAC), Cerner Patient Accounting (CPA), or similar)
    • Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, preferably Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium)
  • Experience working in cloud-based analytics environments, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or comparable platforms
  • Experience with data warehouse or enterprise analytics platforms (e.g., HDI, EDW environments, or similar)
  • Experience partnering with vendors and internal teams during system implementations, data migrations, or platform transitions
  • Experience building governed, reusable analytics assets (standardized dashboards, curated datasets, semantic layers)

Certifications (Preferred, Not Required)
  • Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or Oracle Cloud certifications
  • Oracle Database SQL or PL/SQL certifications
  • Cloud platform certifications (OCI, AWS, or Azure)
  • Healthcare data or analytics-related certifications (e.g., CHDA - Certified Health Data Analyst)
