Job description

inHance, a division of Harris; is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst who will bring seasoned quality assurance expertise to enhance the capabilities of our Research & Development team.


With a minimum of three years in the QA field, the ideal candidate will be proficient at planning, executing, and interpreting test plan. Experience in scripting automated tests for both web and desktop applications is crucial, along with a robust understanding of tools like TestComplete, ReadyAPI, and programming languages such as C# and SQL. Looking ahead, we anticipate that you will lead the charge in integrating innovative tools and methodologies to elevate inHANCE's QA practices. This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in Canada and the US. Travel is required as needed, approximately 5%. Candidates must hold a current, valid passport and be legally eligible to travel internationally. This includes either passport based visa exemption or possession of any required travel visas for entry into Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean. Preference will be given to candidates who can work in EST or CST timezone.


Salary:

What your impact will be:

  • Design testing plans and strategies for UI, API, load, performance, integration, and regression testing for our different products - web and client/server
  • Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met
  • Analyze, recommend, and configure tools to be used for quality assurance
  • Writing and maintaining automated test suites for front-end and back-end components using TestComplete and ReadyAPI
  • Installing and configuring test environments
  • Develop and maintain existing scripts to refresh testing environments
  • Collect metrics to measure the quality of our products over time
  • Collaborate with the development team and the rest of QA team to improve software quality

What we are looking for:

  • Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and QA
  • 3+ years of experience in software development QA
  • Experience working with MS SQL
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences: create release notes, slides/documents to assist sales and marketing
  • Experience with test case generation for both manual and automated testing
  • Experience building automated test cases using TestComplete and SQL
  • Experience with bug-tracking systems such as Jira or DevOps
