What You'll Work On:
  • Analyze operational activities to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Employ process improvements and reengineering methodologies and principles for the modernization of systems and projects.
  • Create project plans to achieve performance-based objectives, enhancing implementation, systems, and service.
  • Provide integral support in mission requirements determination, conceptualization, design, development, testing, verification and validation, documentation, and implementation of system applications.
  • Collect and analyze data so that stakeholders can use said data to perfect their business practices.
  • Perform analysis to determine how data might best be applied to benefit the stakeholders.

You Have:
  • Experience estimating the level of effort for business analysis activities
  • Experience eliciting requirements
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies
  • Knowledge of data collection systems and their strategies, as well as database systems and how they function
  • Ability to create data mapping documentation for databases, interfaces, and applications
  • Ability to interpret data and analyze results
  • Ability to explain complex topics to different audiences
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with business analysis, or 9+ years of experience with business analysis in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with AF logistics systems
  • Experience with large-scale data environments and migrations

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
