The successful candidate will hold a current state license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LPC/MHSP. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Rocky Meadow Counseling, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psycho-social assessments to understand clients' mental health status and needs.
• Formulating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic evaluations and patient goals.
• Providing therapeutic interventions for individuals and families, modifying care plans as necessary to reflect changes in patient status.
• Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and execute discharge plans, ensuring continuity of care and the smooth transition of clients between services.
• Offering referrals to community resources, treatment programs, and support groups to enhance clients' well-being.
• Educating clients about various coping strategies and therapeutic modalities that can support their mental health journey.
• Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as adhering to the Mental Health Practice Act.
• Facilitating effective communication among multiple stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare providers, to resolve any issues affecting care delivery.
• Identifying patients at risk for delays in care or readmissions, coordinating with care providers to address these needs proactively.
• Providing crisis intervention and bereavement support as needed, always advocating for the client’s best interests.

Our therapists work with a diverse client population that includes children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD. This role requires a genuine commitment to understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by each client, fostering a therapeutic alliance to inspire positive changes and improved mental health outcomes.

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in the state of Tennessee as either an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LPC/MHSP.
• Demonstrable knowledge of community mental health resources and services.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective client interactions and documentation.
• Proven ability to build rapport with clients and work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience in a telehealth or remote therapy environment.
