AWS Cloud Platform Architect 100% remote Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance W2 employment only NO C2C Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient AWS cloud architectures for enterprise applications, data platforms, and mission-critical services. • Develop end-to-end infrastructure solutions, including high-availability, disaster recovery, and multi-region strategies. • Define migration strategies for transitioning on-premises workloads to AWS and contribute to cloud strategy and technology roadmaps. • Oversee infrastructure as code deployments using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK. • Establish and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline software deployments and infrastructure updates. • Implement observability, monitoring, and logging using AWS CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and approved third-party tools. • Design cloud architectures that meet security, governance, and regulatory compliance requirements, including HIPAA, FedRAMP, and SOC 2, as applicable. • Apply IAM best practices, encryption strategies, and secure networking patterns across AWS environments. • Partner with developers, DevOps engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable cloud solutions aligned to mission needs. • Diagnose and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues to maintain performance, reliability, and operational stability. • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance while staying current with emerging cloud technologies and recommending improvements.
