Position Summary


This is an ONSITE position.


NCC is seeking candidates to produce, direct, write, and edit a variety of high-profile videos, docuseries, and other enterprise programs (primarily long-form) across multiple platforms, ensuring factual integrity, dynamic storytelling, and enhanced production value to support the learning needs of one of our clients.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end video production from concept through delivery in a multicultural, multilingual environment
  • Collaborate with clients, educators, historians, and stakeholders to define objectives, audience, format, and creative direction
  • Manage production schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client reviews
  • Direct internal teams, field crews, and technical staff; provide creative oversight
  • Develop program concepts, outlines, scripts, and storyboards in collaboration with creatives
  • Research, write, and edit original scripts and shape raw content into compelling narratives
  • Conduct and direct on-camera and narration interviews with professional and non-professional talent
  • Plan, schedule, and direct field and studio shoots
  • Source and license stock and archival media to support storytelling
  • Execute video editing and post-production in Adobe Premiere Pro, including motion graphics, color correction, sound design, and final mastering
  • Ensure final deliverables meet client goals and quality standards
  • Support studio, field, and live event filming as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance (Must be able to
  • 10+ years of video production experience in broadcast, corporate, or government environments.
  • Demonstrated success producing high-quality, long-form content with strong storytelling and cinematic techniques.
  • Experience managing stakeholders, budgets, timelines, and multi-phase projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proven leadership of production teams and field crews.
  • Strong research, writing, and program development skills with a clear creative vision.
  • Extensive experience with archival research and stock media sourcing.
  • Skilled in interviewing and directing talent across studio, field, and voiceover settings.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
  • Working knowledge of photography, motion graphics, animation, and production equipment (cameras, lighting, audio).
  • Interest in international affairs and the mission of the U.S. State Department.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 compliance.

Compensation Details:
