About the Role
Seeking.com is the world's largest premium dating platform, and we are in the middle of the most important chapter of our brand transformation.
From week one you will be drafting pitches, tracking media coverage, supporting the casting of Seeking members for press interviews, building media lists, and pitching journalists.

• Monitor and organize daily media coverage; prepare summaries and internal reports • Research journalists, influencers, podcasts, and media opportunities relevant to the brand • Support outreach efforts to media contacts and influencers under the Senior PR Manager's and PR Specialist's direction
• Help create media kits, fact sheets, executive bios, Q&As, and briefing documents • Track competitor PR activity and flag interesting items to the team
• Help coordinate award submissions and speaking opportunities
• Identify PR opportunities through Qwoted, HARO, and similar platforms daily • Surface trending topics and cultural conversations the team should consider hijacking • Flag potential reputation or media risks to the Senior PR Manager when identified
Member Casting & Storyteller Book Support
• Own the day-to-day operations of the Seeking member casting book under management's review
• Prepare member briefing packets ahead of press interviews (outlet, journalist, angle, talking points)
• Help match members to journalist interview requests and coordinate availability • Manage NDAs, consent forms, and post-interview follow-ups for member interviewees
Agency & Cross-Functional Coordination
• Support day-to-day communication with our outside agency partners in the UK and US • Schedule meetings and maintain calendars for PR initiatives
• Track deadlines, deliverables, approvals, and follow-up items across projects • Surface agency performance issues to the manager early and with specifics
Marketing Operations & Administrative Support
• Create and update Jira tickets and maintain organized project workflows
• Gather materials and agenda items for team meetings
• Maintain calendars, trackers, and shared planning documents
• Update SOPs and process documentation for recurring workflows
• Support integrated campaign coordination across PR, creative, social, and digital teams • Maintain PR asset libraries: approved imagery, messaging documents, and executive materials • Proofread communications for grammar, formatting, tone, and brand consistency
Media Monitoring & Reporting
• Monitor daily media coverage across digital, print, broadcast, and social channels • Compile media coverage reports and basic PR performance metrics
• Track media outreach activity and coverage opportunities in internal systems • Support coordination of interviews, press opportunities, and media activations • Help prepare weekly and monthly reporting summaries for leadership
Required Qualifications
• 1 to 2 years of experience in PR, communications, marketing, journalism, media, or related roles (internships count)
• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent track record
• Published clips from a school paper, magazine, blog, or newsletter
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
• Familiarity with PR and project management tools preferred (Google Alerts, Muck Rack, Cision; Jira, Asana, or Monday; Google Workspace and Microsoft Office)
• Understanding of AP style and professional communications standards
• Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Internship or junior agency experience in PR, communications, or media
• AI fluency. You already use ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or similar tools in your daily workflow and can describe what you use them for
• Experience supporting media outreach or influencer coordination
• Familiarity with premium, lifestyle, consumer tech, or dating brands
Compensation & Benefits
• Base salary: $60,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience
• Full-time, exempt, fully remote within the US
• Health, dental, vision, 401(k), and standard benefits package
