• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns and formulate appropriate treatment strategies. This may involve utilizing standardized assessments and tools specific to diverse psychological conditions.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that address clients’ unique challenges, setting measurable goals for their progress that are regularly reviewed and adjusted to ensure effective outcomes.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to empower clients along their recovery journeys.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to create integrated care plans and ensure holistic treatment for each client.

• Provide education and support to clients' families, encouraging their understanding of mental health issues and promoting their active involvement in the recovery process.

• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential records of client interactions and treatment strategies in compliance with all ethical and regulatory guidelines.

Our clinic serves a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship challenges. Each case presents a unique set of circumstances, and as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be essential in applying your specialized knowledge to implement effective treatment strategies. You will be expected to build strong therapeutic relationships, fostering trust and encouraging clients to engage deeply in their healing process.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Demonstrated specialized training or extensive experience in mental health counseling, indicating readiness to work with varying mental health disorders.

• A solid grasp of evidence-based practices for treating a wide range of mental health issues.

• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, with the ability to create rapport and engage clients effectively in their treatment.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, facilitating productive collaboration with the treatment team.

• Experience with teletherapy is preferred, given the remote nature of this position, as it requires familiarity with virtual counseling platforms and etiquette.

• Experience in group therapy settings will be considered an asset, highlighting the importance of collaborative therapeutic practices.

• The salary range for this position is competitive, between $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
