You can find case manager positions in both the medical field and the social work industry. In a role as a nurse case manager, you act as an advocate for patients. Your responsibilities are to recommend treatment options, establish a care plan, communicate with families and support groups, and coordinate inpatient and outpatient care. To thrive as a Remote Case Manager, you need a background in social work, nursing, or a related field, often requiring a relevant degree and licensure or certification.
