Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups to understand each client’s unique context and needs.
  • Facilitate the development of individualized treatment plans by synthesizing assessment findings and utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
  • Deliver timely and effective clinical interventions that adapt to the diverse and complex needs of clients across various demographics.
  • Maintain thorough documentation correlating to assessment, treatment progress, and interdisciplinary care collaborations, ensuring it aligns with organizational standards and ethical care practices.
  • Participate in clinical meetings and patient rounds to discuss treatment plans and progress with team members, promoting a collaborative approach to patient care.
  • Provide ongoing case management by liaising with community resources and services, ensuring seamless support across care environments.
  • Incorporate best practices and current developments in mental health to continually refine your therapeutic approach and client interactions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center serves a diverse patient population, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other mental health issues. As a counselor here, you will engage with clients from various backgrounds and present with differing needs, enabling you to apply your skills in numerous contexts while making significant contributions to their mental health journeys.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the State of Georgia.
  • A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 10 to 40 hours per week, adapting to the varying needs of clients.
  • At least two years of clinical experience providing mental health counseling and direct client care.
Preferred Experience
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and an eagerness to incorporate various therapeutic modalities into client care.
  • Prior experience working in an outpatient office and understanding the nuances of remote service delivery.
  • Skill in working within interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
