• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to determine the mental health needs of clients, developing a holistic understanding of their challenges and history.
• Design, implement, and monitor evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client's goals, employing therapeutic techniques that best suit their therapeutic journey.
• Provide individual, couples, and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices and appropriate therapeutic interventions to foster a safe space for clients to explore their feelings and experiences.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams, including case managers and psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive and effective client care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring the highest levels of privacy and security.
• Engage in regular professional development activities, which may include training in new therapeutic methodologies, participation in workshops, and feedback sessions to enhance clinical skills.

Your client population will primarily consist of individuals struggling with addiction, mental health disorders, and emotional crises. They may present with issues ranging from substance misuse to trauma-related distress, requiring a compassionate and skilled approach. Your role will involve engaging clients in therapeutic interventions aimed at crisis management, trauma recovery, and long-term strategies for sustaining mental wellness.

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant mental health field is required.
• An active and independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the state of Florida.

• Experience in addiction therapy and crisis intervention is highly desirable, along with a track record of working effectively with diverse populations.
• Strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation and case management.
