Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own space while maintaining connectivity with our dedicated outpatient office team. Our flexible work hours include Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some potential adjustments as needed to accommodate client schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for clients, utilizing solution-focused and evidence-based practices to inform the development of personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement effective therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other proven methodologies tailored to individual client needs.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records, adhering to HIPAA and other regulatory standards to ensure the privacy and safety of client information.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to create a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to exchange insights, improve treatment approaches, and enhance service delivery quality.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.
  • Remain informed on advancements in the mental health field to ensure the use of up-to-date practices and interventions in client sessions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from individuals facing acute mental health crises to those seeking ongoing support for chronic mental health conditions. Your role will focus on providing empathetic, culturally competent care that addresses the unique needs and backgrounds of each client, empowering them throughout their therapeutic process.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.
  • Strong understanding of and expertise in applying solution-focused psychotherapy interventions to meet the individualized needs of clients.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills, allowing for agile and effective case management.

Preferred Experience
