• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs, creating tailored treatment plans that reflect the unique requirements of each individual.
• Engage in ongoing case management, ensuring clients receive the full spectrum of behavioral health services available.
• Provide psychotherapy services for individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing various mental health disorders.
• Perform crisis intervention as necessary, utilizing evidence-based techniques to de-escalate situations and provide immediate support.
• Facilitate timely evaluations and conduct intake assessments, ensuring a respectful and empathetic approach to new clients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary primary care team, maintaining effective communication with all levels of staff and external healthcare providers.
• Ensure adherence to mental health policies and procedures, consistently updating protocols in line with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Screen and assess patients for substance abuse issues, providing counseling or directing them towards necessary treatment resources.
• Refer patients requiring inpatient or specialized mental health services to appropriate external entities, ensuring continuity of care.

The clientele at our detox center primarily consists of individuals dealing with alcohol and drug use disorders, as well as co-occurring mental health conditions. Your work as an LCSW will involve compassionate care and understanding of the unique challenges faced by these patients. You will assist them in their journey towards recovery, offering guidance and practical strategies to manage their mental health effectively.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.
• Proven clinical skills, with a focus on therapeutic interventions tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Strong crisis intervention abilities and the capacity to exercise mature judgment in high-pressure situations.
• Effective communication skills in both oral and written formats, capable of presenting information articulately to administration and staff.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems for patient documentation and case management.

• Experience working in detox or addiction recovery settings is highly desirable.

• Previous experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
