Position Overview:
The Clinical Specialist is responsible for all task and duties outlined in the Clinical Specialist role; in addition to, providing educational research, marketing, and sales support to accounts and customers assigned by Argon Medical Management and approved by the Manager of Clinical Services.
This is a remote position that requires 75% travel. Candidates must reside in Florida, North Carolina or South Carolina.
What you will do:
  • Responsible for working with field sales and corporate teams to identify, create, prioritize, and pursue revenue and market development opportunities. Will work closely with sales reps and new customers to remove barriers to grow business.
  • Provide advanced clinical and technical support for coverage of relevant procedures. Educate Physicians and support staff on product IFU's, troubleshooting, clinical data, industry news and relevant competitive positioning.
  • Promote, coordinate, and execute Argon's Resident and Medical Student Training Program, along with CEU presentations.
  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including, distributors, physicians, support staff and key opinion leaders.
  • Responsible for assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Argon's portfolio of products and services.
  • Develop and/or implement market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
  • Assess customer needs and feedback regarding new products and/or modifications to existing products and communicates to internal stakeholders including R&D, Clinical Affairs, Marketing, and National Accounts.
  • Responsible for the management and mentorship of clinical personal and show responsibility for participating in formulating clinical support plans that help drive sales numbers, retain accounts, and open new product trials.
  • Maintain satisfactory annual performance review along with meeting all timeframe deliverables.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal departments on various project initiatives as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills for Success:
  • Associate's degree with a minimum of 8 years of clinical and/or medical sales experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of clinical and/or medical sales experience.
  • Graduate level degree with a minimum of 4 years of clinical and/or medical sales experience.
  • Experience in the Interventional Radiology Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, Operating Room or ICU required.
  • Candidates must reside in Florida, North Carolina or South Carolina.

Preferred Education and experience
  • Prior experience selling and/or supporting medical devices preferred.

  • Must be able to travel 75% of the time.
