• Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify clients' psychological and emotional needs effectively.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individuals, couples, and families, ensuring that therapy goals align with each client’s unique circumstances.
• Facilitate engaging therapeutic sessions, providing both individual and group therapy to assist clients in processing their experiences and feelings.
• Teach clients evidence-based coping skills, problem-solving techniques, and effective strategies for stress reduction to enhance their overall well-being.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, when necessary, to create a coordinated care approach that addresses the totality of the client's needs.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and any changes in their mental health status using electronic health record systems.
• Engage in continuous education and training opportunities to stay current in therapeutic methodologies and improve service delivery.

As an LMFT at Cardinal Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Your ability to relate to each client’s unique experiences and create a safe environment for healing will be essential to your success in this role.

• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field is required.
• A current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience providing therapeutic services in an outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to connect effectively with clients and colleagues.
• The ability to work independently, manage a caseload efficiently, and deliver high-quality services confined to ethical guidelines.
• Proficiency in electronic health records and other technology platforms relevant to therapy and practice management is essential.
• A strong commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to professional ethics.

• Experience with teletherapy and digital tools for therapy delivery.
• Background in working with specific issues such as family dynamics, pre-marital counseling, or trauma-focused therapy.
• Familiarity with community resources available for clients requiring additional support.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
