Department: Cardiac Cath Lab
Shift Timing: Morning Shift 07:00 - 15:30 Hours (8 hours/ 5 Days)
Per Week: 40 Hours
Experience: 2 Years
Requirement: On call required. 1 night per week, 1 weekend a month (Friday 5pm - Monday 7am) 1 holiday
Experience Level Requested (in years): 2-3 years in diagnostic and interventional cath lab
Job Description: Procedural cath lab RN able to care for patients undergoing cardiac cath, PCI, IABP and Impella insertion, temporary pacemaker, Able to administer moderate sedation
Responsibilities
Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures.
Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.
Prepare, implement and document plan of care.
Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures.
Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.
Perform set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.
