Job description

Overview
  • Tier One Technologies is seeking an Oracle eBusiness Suite Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support our direct US Government client.
  • This is going to be a 100% remote position originated in Arlington, VA.
  • SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a project team to develop, plan, and manage critical project tasks to implementing modules relating to the functionality of Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials - Purchasing (PO), Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payables (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), Project Accounting (PA) and General Ledger (GL).
  • Participate in the preparation of materials and oral presentations for senior executives/directors, and customers.
  • Play a lead role in meetings relating to specific technical projects or tasks.
  • Respond promptly to incidents in ServiceNow.
  • Diagnose and repair system problems working closely with vendor support or internal teams for all servers, software and other hardware directly or with the team members.
  • Support Finance & Payment Technology Services for application and system development, maintenance, and overall technical support as required.
  • Lead in AI, VersionOne, and ALM usage by the development team.
  • Enhance and support these production applications and create new applications along with the time sensitive deliverables as the need arises.
  • Utilize an iterative development methodology and attend Agile ceremonies for all work done under this contract. The methodology must allow users to examine the validity and accuracy of the business requirements and to respond to the usability and performance of any new deployments or installs.
  • Provide configuration documents.

Qualifications
  • A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field, then four additional years of related experience is required.
  • 20+ years of Oracle EBS related experience.
  • Strong Enterprise Solution Architect expertise in designing and implementing robust, high-performance infrastructure for mission-critical applications, desirable.
  • Proven ability to lead planning and deployment of scalable on-premises application infrastructure, including internal/external server architecture, ASM/NAS/SAN storage sizing, and OS-level performance tuning.
  • Skilled in DevOps practices and proficient in deploying release management tools to streamline software delivery and operations.
  • Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Expertise in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, General Ledger.
  • Expert knowledge in scheduling jobs, constraints, errors, AFT, and analyzing logs.
  • Adept at rapidly analyzing complex business requirements from diverse sources to deliver actionable insights and strategic decisions.
  • Effective ability to bridge functional and technical teams, facilitating seamless collaboration and communication across disciplines.
  • Proven track record of delivering full lifecycle implementations and upgrades of Oracle EBS, emphasizing out-of-the-box solutions over excessive customization to reduce complexity and improve long-term maintainability.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large cross-functional teams, managing project scope, and delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Experienced in developing enterprise-level technical implementation plans, aligning IT strategy with business goals.
  • Possess a unique blend of project management, technical acumen, and functional insight, enabling holistic oversight of enterprise initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of the modules to minimize the RICE development and use COTS functionality in designing solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (preferably VersionOne) as well as IT Service Management (ITSM) systems (preferably ServiceNow).
  • Flexible and willing to work on-call, including overnights and weekends, as required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be US Citizens or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
  • Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
  • Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
  • Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 years. Military Service excluded.
