What We Are Looking For:
We are currently seeking a Senior Product Owner who demonstrates strong cross-functional collaboration across business and technology stakeholder groups to deliver impactful fintech solutions to our business partners through our order execution systems. The position is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for partnering with the Product Management team to help execute product strategy within assigned domain by translating business objectives into prioritized backlogs and deliverable plans while working as a member of an Agile development team to deliver differentiated trading products of impeccable quality.
Applicants must have expertise in trading /securities industry concepts, practices, procedures. Candidates are expected to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish a variety of complicated tasks and goals. You embrace a data-driven mindset and AI tools to accelerate execution and deliver quality results faster and smarter.
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Collaborate with the Product Management team to understand the customer and market needs
  • Balance competing priorities within assigned product area to meet business and delivery goals
  • Responsible for the day-to-day direction and output of an Agile team, including backlog management, sprint planning, and delivery tracking
  • Accountable for delivery KPIs including velocity, release predictability, defect rates, and time-to-market
  • Ensure adherence to established product management processes, Agile frameworks, and governance standards
  • Solve complex problems within established frameworks, using data and domain expertise to inform decisions
  • Use AI tools to accelerate user story definition, acceptance criteria drafting, and technical documentation, following security and governance standards
  • Work within a SAFe Agile development paradigm to ensure roadmap delivery alignment across program increments
  • Manage the product life cycle from conception through release and beyond
  • Own the quality bar by working with the QA team to ensure comprehensive test coverage requirements are met before release
  • Enjoy spending time in the market to understand the opportunities or issues, and find innovative solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement over rapid Iteration cycles to accelerate time to market without sacrificing quality
  • Optimize team productivity and minimize overhead and cost
  • Participate in production incident response during critical system events
The Skills You Bring:
  • Experience with real-time trading systems, order routing, and margining systems
  • Experience with distributed teams
  • Experience with trading platforms
  • Strong analytical, technical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks to successful completion

  • Innovation oriented
  • Deep familiarity with distributed event driven streaming architectures and real-time data processing patterns
  • Knowledge of equity, futures, options trading products preferred
  • Experience with projects utilizing a cloud provider (such as AWS) preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years in brokerage, trading, or capital markets technology, with hands-on experience defining requirements for order execution, risk management, or trading infrastructure
