Job Description:
Technical Skills:
• Understand customer requirements and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Design wiring harnesses including 3D routing, 2D drawings, and schematic diagrams for various automotive systems.
• Create and maintain component libraries and ensure compliance with wiring standards.
• Select appropriate components of wiring harness as per automotive standards and domain knowledge (wires, connectors, terminals, seals, fuses, relays, insulation, retention items).
• Prepare and manage installation assemblies, drawing & bracket designs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth project workflow.
• Handle customer and onsite engineer meetings for project status, feedback, and future work opportunities.
• Hands-on experience with Creo, Capital Harness XC, Capital Library, Windchill (PDM).
• Strong knowledge of automotive wiring standards and product design.
b. Leadership & Project Management:
• Maintain quality of project deliverables as per customer requirements.
• Monitor project status.
• Drive process improvements and explore automation opportunities.
• Ensure team utilization.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand requirements and generate new business opportunities.
Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication, presentation, and team management skills.
