As a Mental Health Therapist, you will operate in a flexible remote setting designed for effective mental health delivery. While much of the work can be performed from the comfort of your home, regular interactions with students and school personnel will foster a supportive framework for comprehensive mental health care. The role allows for daily engagement with various stakeholders, empowering you to create meaningful relationships that can significantly impact patient care.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate each patient's mental health status using various tools, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V). Based on the evaluation, you will develop tailored individualized care plans that are culturally sensitive and address specific needs.

• Monitor patient progress continuously, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to support individuals experiencing emotional or mental health challenges.

• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation of treatment records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and departmental protocols.

• Collaborate effectively with patients and their families to construct comprehensive treatment approaches that align with desired patient outcomes.

• Provide education and guidance regarding mental health practices, engaging in peer reviews, and offering mentorship to junior staff and interns.

• Engage in outreach and coordination efforts, establishing strong working relationships with external providers and community resources to facilitate referrals and ongoing care.

The LICSW in this position is expected to interact primarily with a diverse population of children and adolescents, many of whom are navigating the complexities associated with serious illnesses such as cancer. By utilizing evidence-based practices, the therapist will support the mental health needs of these patients, offering therapeutic interventions that positively influence their well-being and resilience.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• Prior experience working in pediatric mental health settings or with populations facing chronic illness will be highly regarded.

• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and a proven record of developing and implementing effective treatment plans.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000. Additionally, new hires are welcomed with a sign-on bonus.
