As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and utilizing resources like the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to create individualized care plans tailored to the unique needs of patients affected by cancer.
• Providing ongoing evaluation of patient progress, employing therapeutic interventions and evidence-based strategies that enhance mental health outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate and timely treatment records in compliance with regulatory standards, utilizing modern healthcare technology systems.
• Collaborating with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust comprehensive treatment plans that address evolving mental health needs.
• Coordinating with external providers and services to ensure patients have access to a full spectrum of care, facilitating smooth referrals and communication.
• Offering educational support and mentorship to new team members, students, and volunteers to foster a learning environment within our organization.
• Engaging in peer collaboration and review activities, under the guidance of a clinical supervisor, to support the continuous development of clinical skills across the team.

This position focuses on the emotional and psychological well-being of individuals and families directly affected by cancer. You will be instrumental in providing therapy that fosters resilience, coping strategies, and hope during difficult times. By employing trauma-informed care principles, you will work collaboratively to enhance the quality of life for patients grappling with both mental health and cancer-related challenges.

The position requires:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) enabling you to practice independently.

While a strong foundational knowledge of social work principles is essential, experience in oncology social work or working with patients dealing with chronic illness is highly valued. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and prior experience in a remote care setting can enhance your candidacy.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 yearly, commensurate with experience.
