Join the Rural Support Service in this 12-month Project Manager opportunity, leading a high-profile project, focused on expanding haematology cancer services across regional and rural South Australia. This is a unique opportunity to deliver meaningful system-wide improvements, influence healthcare strategy, and work alongside clinical leaders, health services and key stakeholders to improve access to specialist haematology care for rural communities.

In this rewarding role, you will drive project delivery, service planning and quality improvement initiatives while providing strategic advice and fostering strong partnerships across South Australia's health system.

WHO ARE WE?

The RSS is a directorate of the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, that delivers a range of enabling services, such as workforce planning and recruitment, digital health, finance, infrastructure, procurement, and clinical governance support. Our purpose is to strengthen and sustain healthcare delivery in rural and regional areas by providing consistent, efficient, and specialist support functions to the six regional local health networks (LHNs) across South Australia.  We work across 37 regional, rural and remote SA locations, as well as 3 Adelaide offices.

  • Lead the delivery of the Expanding Services for Haematological Malignancies in Regional and Rural South Australia Project, ensuring successful planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • Provide expert project management, strategic advice and high-quality reporting to support decision-making across the Rural Support Service and regional Local Health Networks.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, executives, government agencies and key stakeholders to design and implement sustainable service improvements.
  • Identify risks, opportunities and innovative solutions that enhance service delivery, clinical governance and patient outcomes across regional South Australia.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, communication and change management activities to support project success and achieve meaningful system-wide impact.
