This role will operate within a remote work setting, primarily supporting clients who are undergoing detoxification or facing substance use issues. As part of a detox center, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, psychologists, and medical providers to ensure a comprehensive treatment experience. Your flexible schedule will accommodate client needs, allowing for evening and weekend appointments as required to provide optimal care.

• Utilize your education, training, and experience to perform independent psychosocial assessments and formulate accurate diagnoses tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Work collaboratively with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that are aligned with their personal recovery goals and overall wellness aspirations.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, including but not limited to solution-focused treatment, motivational interviewing, and behavioral activation, ensuring that your methodologies align with best practices in mental health.
• Engage in holistic care coordination by partnering with various healthcare providers, integrating psychiatric support and primary care resources to facilitate comprehensive treatment modalities.
• Monitor client progress towards established treatment goals through systematic tracking, adjusting approaches as necessary based on client responses and feedback.
• Support medication management initiatives by collaborating with medical providers to monitor adherence, address side effects, and evaluate treatment effectiveness for clients requiring psychotropic medications.

You will primarily work with clients experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues, providing compassionate care that fosters a safe and supportive environment. Your role will involve engaging clients at various stages of recovery, from those in detox to individuals seeking long-term therapeutic support, ensuring each person receives tailored assistance throughout their journey.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, preparing you for the complexities of clinical practice.
• A current and valid LCSW license in the State of New Jersey, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards for independent practice.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a licensed therapist, equipping you with the necessary skills to engage successfully with clients in a variety of settings.

Though not mandatory, experience in a detox or addiction recovery setting, combined with familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and community resources, would be highly beneficial. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and demonstrated success in multi-disciplinary collaboration will enhance your contributions to our team.
