Job Overview

Accountable for managing end-to-end product delivery for projects within identified process towers. In addition, responsible for business process design, harmonization and efficiency within assigned products and functional areas. Ensure business processes align with strategic goals and internal controls for the functional area. Work collaboratively with business leaders as well as business user communities to understand business needs and identify improvement opportunities. Gather business requirements and incorporate them into project blueprints, overall project delivery and prioritization of work. Collaborate with the IT team to deliver a solution based on the blueprint created. Identification of required resources for assigned projects and ensures project is completed to meet business needs while maintaining alignment to global processes. Establish and monitor KPI's after project completion to ensure adoption and understanding of the new solution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


   Provide oversight for projects within assigned process tower.
   Understand and create user stories for assigned products or areas.
   Plan, execute and prepare user requirements for projects in assigned areas.
   Provide expertise on continual process improvement as well as prepare the documentation of business processes for assigned areas.
   Continuously update and enhance existing documentation through partnership with subject matter experts (SMEs), process owners and other stakeholders.
   Collaborate on best practices and partner with the business process owners.
   Work with IT, finance, and site counterparts to develop and communicate user acceptance testing to validate functional requirements.
   Engage with the training team to ensure training materials have been documented, updated, and presented to user groups as needed or as part of product launch or update.
   Develop and monitor KPIs for M&A projects in the assigned process tower.

   Review work in queue and provide recommendations for prioritization and overall solution design. 
   Work with appropriate stakeholders to proactively identify and evaluate risk associated with business and system integrations and transformations. Help mitigate potential problems with IT delivery, master data, and organizational change management.
   Identify any change management (OCM) areas within assigned work stream and communicate with the OCM team to ensure all areas are addressed.
   Drive organic process improvement, scalability, and efficiency for functional areas in assigned work streams. Continuously review processes end to end to identify opportunities and pursue process innovation with resolve.
   Present and communicate to all levels of the business and demonstrate an ability to work across various cultures and time zones.
   Ensure adherence to pertinent regulatory requirements and to departmental policies, practices, and procedures (SOPs, safety procedures and biosafety protocols).
   Foster a collaborative and results-drive team environment.
   Perform all other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

   Language: Fluency in writing and speaking in English
   Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's in Business Administration or advanced degree preferred.
   Experience: 10 or more years of combined project delivery and accounting experience in a large or midsized multinational company. Broad and deep knowledge in finance business processes and technologies, including skills in SAP, and other financial consolidation systems, including global ERP implementations and business process architecture. Experience with a Life Science company a plus.
   An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
   Other: Demonstrate a strong command of systems acumen with large ERP experience (SAP preferred). Track record of large transformation implementations. Strong customer service orientation with excellent oral and written skills. Excellent team building skills. Strong ability to collaborate, influents and build consensus.
   Travel:  10-25% - This position requires domestic and international travel.

Compensation Data

The pay range for this position in the USA is $135K - $150K USD annually. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, location and any collective agreements, if applicable. Remote candidates located outside of the US should be aware that the relevant pay range varies based on country and location.
