The Finance Business Analyst supports accounting operations by assisting with process improvement initiatives, financial workflows, reporting, and system-related activities. This position works collaboratively with Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, and other stakeholders to support business processes, system enhancements, testing, data validation, reporting, and user adoption efforts. Responsibilities include assisting with the evaluation of accounting workflows, reconciliations, journal entry processes, and reporting needs while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and data quality. The Finance Business Analyst supports projects impacting Accounting and Finance and helps ensure effective communication, documentation, and coordination among stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Develops and prepares standard and ad hoc financial, operational, and performance reports to support accounting operations, process improvement initiatives, and decision-making.Assists with evaluating accounting workflows, journal entry processes, reconciliations, reporting activities, and related business processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.Collaborates with Accounting & Finance, Information Technology, external vendors, and operational stakeholders to support business process improvements, system enhancements, and implementation activities.Supports projects impacting Accounting and Finance by assisting with project tracking, communication, documentation, issue resolution, and stakeholder coordination.Participates in user acceptance testing, business process validation, and data review activities associated with system enhancements, upgrades, new functionality, and process changes.Maintains process documentation, procedures, workflow diagrams, and training materials to support consistent business operations and knowledge transfer.Assists with researching accounting and finance operational issues, identifies root causes, and recommends solutions to improve processes, reporting, controls, and user experience.Assists in gathering business requirements and evaluating opportunities to improve accounting and finance processes through technology, automation, and process redesign.

Salary Range
The compensation range for this position is $26.41per hour - $44.1per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
