Omnicare is a leading provider of pharmacy services to long-term care facilities nationwide, supporting skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other institutional care settings. Following the sale of Omnicare by CVS Health, this role will support Omnicare and its continued operations as an independent, standalone organization. Candidates should be aware that this role will not remain within CVS Health following the transaction. The individual hired into this role will be employed by Omnicare and will contribute to shaping the future of our organization during this exciting period of growth and transformation.
Oversees the treasury and risk management activities for Omnicare, setting strategic financial objectives and driving effective treasury operations. Collaborates with senior leadership to develop financial strategies, manage debt and capital structure, and optimize cash management practices. Analyzes financial data, makes data-driven decisions, and provides insights on financial risks and opportunities. Participates in capital budgeting, financial modeling, and financial reporting to support the organization's financial goals and ensure regulatory compliance.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Directs the company's cash flows, including forecasting and optimizing cash positions, monitoring bank balances, and ensuring sufficient liquidity for daily operations.

  • Develops accurate cash flow forecasts to facilitate financial planning and budgeting processes, ensuring the availability of funds for upcoming expenses, and minimizing borrowing costs.

  • Coordinates relationships with banks, negotiates banking services, manages bank accounts, and organizes activities such as wire transfers, account reconciliations, and cash pooling.

  • Coordinates risk management activities related to the corporate insurance programs

  • Assesses financial risks, including interest rate risks, foreign exchange risks, and credit risks, and develops strategies to mitigate these risks.

  • Directs debt financing operations, including monitoring loan covenants, managing debt facilities, coordinating with lenders, and evaluating debt repayment strategies.Advises with managers to evaluate short-term investment options for excess cash, maximizing returns while considering safety and liquidity requirements.

  • Collaborates with internal leaders, sharing regular insight and updates on the status of treasury or risk management activities.

  • Ensures compliance with treasury-related regulations, and implements internal controls to safeguard company assets.

  • Designs programs supporting cross-functional working capital initiatives, aimed to enhance and grow treasury competencies and scope of capabilities.

Education

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $132,600.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
