Angi is seeking a Business Development Associate (BDA) to join the Enterprise Sales team. This is a crucial role that will lay a solid foundation for new business development in our vertical.

The ideal BDA candidate has a passion for seeking and developing new customer relationships and building a pipeline of qualified prospects. The Enterprise team seeks a hard-working, results-driven individual who understands the metrics of an enterprise partnership and has a passion for connecting with businesses on a larger scale. The BDA will report to the Director of Enterprise Sales, and collaborate closely with the broader Business Development team on pipeline building and prospect qualification strategies. It is the key initiative of the BDA to source, qualify and set appointments with prospective clients.

About the team

The Corporate Business Development team is responsible for generating new business for Angi by closing and launching Enterprise level accounts. The team manages the entire sales cycle - from prospecting and qualifying through negotiation and signature. Business Development is also heavily involved in new partner launches, in partnership with the assigned Account Manager, to ensure long-term success of the account. We formalize new relationships that secure millions of dollars in revenue each year, and with that comes an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that plays a pivotal role in the overall growth of the company.

What you’ll do

  • Create and successfully present business solutions both in-person and online to executives and large audiences to build Angi awareness and affinity within the partnership.

  • Work effectively and professionally with all departments across the organization with an important emphasis on partnering with Account Management counterparts to seamlessly transition client relationships. The BDA may remain involved, as necessary, during this transition to support the needs of the client.

  • Effectively communicate with leadership the status of prospecting, negotiations, contract agreements, new partnership launches, growth, and potential risks in all opportunities.

In this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of cold calling experience

  • Enterprise sales experience is a plus

  • The ideal candidate will have considerable knowledge or work experience in the home services industry

  • Confident in utilizing a wide array of digital tools and platforms to achieve business goals.

  • Results-driven with a passion to meet and exceed goals and objectives

  • Business acumen, and/or a thirst for knowledge and drive to learn deeply about our partners’ industries and businesses

  • You are a confident, strategic thinker, with an ability to research and uncover new unidentified opportunities

  • Ability to overcome roadblocks with creative solutions

  • You have a natural desire to keep up with industry trends and always adapt and evolve with new sales techniques

  • You are tactful and resilient in challenging situations, and innovative in evaluating new business opportunities

  • Receptive to coaching opportunities and quick to adapt new methods as appropriate

Compensation & Benefits

  • $45,000 - $75,000

    • Base pay $21.63/hr + uncapped performance-based commission paid monthly

    • Annual on-target earnings (OTE) $75,000

  • Full medical, dental, vision package to fit your needs

  • Flexible vacation policy; work hard and take time when you need it

  • Pet discount plans & retirement plan with company match (401K)

  • Technical equipment (i.e. laptop) provided
