This full-time position is an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of clients by providing remote mental health counseling services, particularly through engaging teletherapy sessions. Your expertise will be vital in guiding clients to navigate their emotional and psychological challenges effectively.

About the Organization

Momentous Mental Care Alliance is a leading provider of mental health services committed to empowering individuals, couples, and families. Our mission is to promote mental wellness through evidence-based practices, innovative treatments, and a compassionate approach that respects the unique needs of every client. We believe in fostering a supportive workplace culture, where our counselors are not only valued professionals but also encouraged to grow personally and professionally.

Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing you to provide high-quality care to clients from the comfort of your home or preferred workspace. As a telehealth mental health counselor, you will utilize telecommunication platforms to conduct assessments, therapy sessions, and follow-ups, ensuring a flexible schedule that promotes work-life balance. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals who are dedicated to enhancing each client's therapeutic journey, ensuring that you are never alone in your efforts to provide care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intake interviews to evaluate clients' mental health needs, concerns, and goals, ensuring a tailored approach to therapy.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that outline specific therapeutic goals, intervention strategies, and expected outcomes based on clinical assessments.
  • Provide empathetic and supportive one-on-one counseling sessions that address a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship dilemmas.
  • Facilitate supportive group therapy formats that build community, allowing clients to share experiences and learn from each other.
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to crises by deploying appropriate intervention techniques and safety planning for clients in distress.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all client interactions, ensuring alignment with legal, ethical, and company standards.
  • Uphold high standards of confidentiality and adhere to the ethical codes governing mental health practices and client interactions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, including adults, teens, couples, and families, each facing distinct psychological challenges. Our clients range from those experiencing daily stressors to individuals seeking intensive therapeutic interventions for more severe mental health disorders. Your sensitivity to varying cultural backgrounds and life experiences will be essential in fostering trust and achieving effective therapy outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in a behavioral science field, such as psychology, counseling, or social work, from an accredited institution is required.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania is mandatory, along with passing relevant licensing examinations.
  • Proficiency in a variety of therapeutic modalities and counseling techniques, which may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for engaging clients and effectively conveying therapeutic concepts.
  • A genuine understanding and respect for diverse cultural perspectives, promoting inclusivity and empathy in all client interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of professional counseling experience, particularly in a telehealth setting, is preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams can enhance the overall therapeutic experience for clients.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, teletherapy platforms, and documentation standards specific to mental health practices.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and expertise. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage to ensure your health and well-being.
  • A 401(k) plan with company matching contributions, helping you prepare for your future.
  • Flexible scheduling that accommodates your lifestyle and personal needs.
  • Life insurance and accidental death coverage for peace of mind.
  • A generous policy for vacation and sick leave, allowing you to prioritize your self-care and mental health.
  • Opportunities for professional development and continued education, ensuring that you remain at the forefront of the mental health field.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Momentous Mental Care Alliance, we prioritize career development and mentorship. As part of our commitment to your professional journey, we offer pathways for advancement within the organization, whether through leadership roles, specialized mental health practice areas, or training in emerging therapeutic techniques. We encourage counselors to pursue their interests and further their education, providing resources and support for continuous learning.
