Connect Deeper Counseling Center, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist who holds a valid independent license in the state of Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) to join our growing team. This role is predominantly remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance tailored to the needs of our therapists and the individuals they support. While the therapist will provide virtual consultations, there may be occasional on-site visits, including some travel to veterans' homes as necessary. You will liaise with a skilled team of mental health professionals dedicated to fostering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, including assessments of clients' mental health history, criminal background, and substance abuse issues.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical guidelines for various diagnoses, ensuring comprehensive care tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Provide therapeutic counseling, crisis intervention, and supportive psychotherapy, utilizing effective modalities suited for diverse therapeutic scenarios.
• Document patient care meticulously, monitor client progress, and adhere to ethical standards and reporting mandates, leveraging electronic medical record systems.
• Offer recommendations to multidisciplinary care teams, fostering collaboration to enhance client care and treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain a manageable caseload while ensuring high-quality support and therapeutic interventions.
• Evaluate and document suicide risk assessments with clinical precision and accuracy.
• Be available for on-call crisis support during scheduled work hours.

This position primarily serves mothers and individuals from underrepresented populations who face unique challenges in accessing mental health care. These groups often experience higher rates of stress, anxiety, and depression, stemming from various social, cultural, and economic factors. A deep understanding of these determinants of health will enhance your ability to provide empathetic and effective support.

• A Master’s or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work from an accredited institution is required (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD).
• An independent license to practice in Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload and effectively interface with medical and support staff.
• Proficient use of electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer skills in Windows applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional electronic correspondence.
• A valid driver’s license is required to travel for on-site visits as necessary.

• Experience in mental health assessments, community outreach, substance abuse treatment, and welfare support.
• Knowledge of co-occurring mental health and chemical dependency disorders.
• Passion for behavioral health care and impacting the lives of clients positively.
